Been busy the last week, mainly with sleeping, writing and studying. I haven't been online so much, simply haven't felt like it. Fandom seem´to be filled with petty squabbles lately. People don't seem to realize that it is just a TV show. If they don't like it, they can just turn it off. Nobody is forcing them to watch. I'm still downloading more than I'm watching. The internet is pretty slow and I'm only very slowly catching up.

I went to see the Harry Potter movie yesterday. They werre supposed to show it in English, but that was cancelled because too few people wanted to see it. I didn't expect that. Since I was already at the cinema, I went to see it in German.

Welcome online again :D

I still haven't been able to see HP. But now that the term paper is finished *joy* I'm all free to enjoy the pleasures of life :)

I understand what you mean by taking fandoms too serious! *sigh* It's one thing planning your daily schedule after some TV shows (I do it myself from time to time), but something totally different to behave like you're married to the show... Well anyway.. Fandom can still be fun, as long as you are able to have no grudge for those who take it too serious.. Fangirls and -boys are easily irritated folks ^^

Yeah for the finished term paper!

The HP movie is fun. A bit long, IMHO, but I have the attention span of a fruit fly. I think 45 minutes for a TV show is just long enough. Fandom is fun most of the time and Is hould probably be easier on the rabid fangirls. I just have too much time on my hands ;)
But I'm working on my fics. Unfortunatly, the laptop seems to be in a crisis, crashing on my all the time. I'm usings sis' computer while she is at school. Hopefully it's not the death of the laptop that's looming there. I only got the hardrive replaced this summer. But it's certainly old enough. Has your new laptop finally arrived? Everything humming and spinning the way it should?

Speaking of fandom, have you watched Hive yet? Is it any good? The main part of the mailing list seemed to like it? I haven't seen it yet, I'm waiting for it to recencode to DVD (if the laptop once doesn't crash while it is at work). I'm prefering to watch it on the TV, so I take the time to convert the file.

What other shows are on your watching list for this TV season?

The new laptop is here and has conquered my heart immediately ;) It has more RAM and more storage (100 gigs), and I already put some of my favourite shows (or parts) and music on it :) I like the speed, it's something totally new.

I still haven't seen HP (my mother didn't want to go), but I plan on going Monday after the Czech class. I'm really looking forward to it, though I'm biased when it comes to the compositor of the soundtrack (I really love John Williams, who wrote the music for the first three parts)..

I have seen The Hive, yes! It's good to see the conclusion of Lost Boys", but still there are some negative aspects... But I don't want to spoil you, so I wait 'till you have seen it yourself :D

It's strange that all around my flist laptops seem to crash O_o I hope that this isn't a virus that was inspired by my old one ;) Wel, I know that old laptops have a tendency to take unrequested time-outs *sigh* Though I have to add, that my old one didn't crash once since he was re-formated!! Typical. Well, I'll sell him nevertheless.

Since my flatrate got hooked on WLAN, I started d/loading House episodes (unfortunately the series hasn't started here yet). A friend made me watch Numb3rs and Lost, and I also watch Desperate Housewives and Gilmore Girls for the fun :) I don't think that this will be a boring winter with that much to watch :D

Wow Harry Potter in German must be interesting.

Hope everything goes well for you.

The movie was good. I would have rather seen it in the original English, but German was fine too.

Are you better heath wise? I recall that you had a bit of a slump, a while ago.

Things are looking up for me. I'm still a bit tired during the day, but it's all manageable now.
