Oh there you are :) Long time no see - I hope you are well and working successful at whatever you are doing at the moment :)

Almost didn't recognize you there. What does your new name mean? But it's nice to hear from you again. I got over not going to Oxford, chalked it up to the bad breaks in life. Open University has me pretty busy right now, but it's all good fun. I'm thinking about a Maths or general Science degree but I probably won't be able to get credit for my two years in Oxford. Bummer, but at least got can say that I went to Oxford once;) And while I couldn't take the stres, it was worth it. I can't really complain about Open University. The tutors are friendly, the material is well written and the pace is all right and I'm finally getting marks above the pass mark (which never happened in Oxford). So all in all, the change to Open University was a good move. How is your Schein coming on?

Right now fanfic is my favourite pass-time, even thought I don't have as much time to write as I would like to have, but it's coming along. Something I have been wanting to do since last year was build I site for my site and fanart, but I have never gotten further than some html-ing, so maybe this summer, it will finally happen. High dreams...

Any plans for the summer yourself?

Open University is holding a summer practical seminar in York, but my agoraphobic leanings are keeping me here at the moment. I can still do it some other time, but there is no summer break anyways, the academic year runs from February through October. I don't think I will run out of work any time soon ;)

How long is your summer break at college?

Bummer is only that summer brings the TV break, well except Stargate. Already looking forward to July. I'm trying to pass up to time with fanfic, although the season finale didn't really inspire me to write a fic there were many eps during the season demanding fic. And there is that EFC crossover on which I have been working ever since I started watching SG-1, but I decided it works better for Atlantis. I had almost 10k words, but scraped them. Started again, but I think I need another rewrite, because the tecnobabble makes even less sense than techobable is supposed to make. It's the kind of fic that calls for a diagramm and not because of the freaky positions;)

But enough of me boring you. Hope to see more of you around.

Sorry if I confused you ^^ Actually, I wanted to change the name to ninui, but that was already taken. So I put an extra n to it. Ninui means February in Sindarin (the language of the Elves, that J.R.R. Tolkien invented).

Open university really sounds like fun, and it's good to hear that you are enjoying yourself while having success at it :)

My summer plans basically consist of learning, as I didn't get to make my English Intermediate Exam last semester - I got ill and failed one exam. I make this Schein right now, and the intermediate exam will be in mid-October.

On the TV/Fandom front, I'm currently catching up with the BSG episodes I didn't see, because I started watching the series when the first season was almost over... I like the series, it's very well made ^^ Do you watch it?

You won't be alone studying in the summer.I can't believe that the semester is going to last until October. It seems to have started ages ago, but it was only February.

I haven't watched BSG (yet), I have downloaded the first season when it aired, but haven't watched it yet. It is on my big stack of unwatched I did watch the minseries a few years ago, I think it was on in 2003. That was pretty good. Did you watch the miniseries?
