You are kidding, right?
I overslept and promptly woke up on the wrong planet.

Whoever thought up the questionaires I had to fill out today should be shot (or committed to this place). While I had to answer 'no' on all the usual questions like 'have you ever tortured animals' or 'have you ever threatened someone with a weapon such as a stick, a bottle or a gun' , some just blew my mind - 'can you see people's auras' or 'are you aware of energy fields surrounding people or objects'.

My kids have had to fill out weird questionaires like that :shakes head:

Thinking about you!

I took that test once for a research study. Only it was an interview -- even more fun! But I guess I passed because they invited me back.

'are you aware of energy fields surrounding people or objects'

I like the wording. It sounds as if the auras exist and you are being questioned about whether or not you happen to notice them.

I wouldn't really blame the person who wrote the questionnaire. I have a friend who claims he can see auras. I am not saying the exist or anything, but there are lots of people who believe they exist and that some people can see them.

The subject of auras is certainly open to debate (not least because it is inherently impossible to prove that something doesn't exist), I just don't think that question has any bearing on my state of mind. Besides, if I really did or though I could do some of the things mentioned on the questionare (seeing the future, control events with thoughts, etc.) I certainly wouldn't admit to it! But that might just be my general lack of faith in psychology and those practising it.
