Mediamax, the former Streamload has closed its portals. There is a site called TheLinkUp now instead, but it looks like my account has ceased to exist :-( I have my most important files backed up to DVD, so I could go ahead and create a new account (assuming that file hosting is still possible, I couldn't tell from what I've read on the website), but I'm not sure whether I should bother. In the age of free hosting sites and YouTube, people hardly need vid hosting anymore and I doubt anyone was still interested in the @lantis archive anyways. I know it's really not important in the big scheme of things, but I'm still pretty frustrated about the whole thing.

My layout needs repairing, too, since the images I hosted for it are no longer available of course.

In other news, I have been busy with NaNoWriMo, work and language classes. French class has reached new levels of boredom - reading the economy section of Le Monde out loud. But I did learn a bunch of new words.
