Sometimes bro has me near walking up the walls. Really. Anyone has a music rec' for me? Any genre is welcome.

ETA: Fic reasearch questions: are there alternative long distance bus companies to greyhound (the only one I found off the internet)? Can you buy a plane ticket without a credit card?

At the moment I'm really into Joseph Arthur, his stuff is really good.. Redemption son is his latest cd... Listen to Honey and the Moon, always relaxes me..

Yes, I agree, especially "In the Sun."

About the bus thing, I can ask at the transit center tomorrow (assuming I remember), see what they say.

Have you tried asking this on the April Fools boards? People there may know.

You can buy a plane ticket in the U.S. (I assume that's what you're wondering) with cash at the airport as long as you show an I.D. Alternatively, you can go through a travel agent and pay without a credit card.

I don't know of any bus companies that can truly compete with Greyhound for coast-to-coast transportation. It's been a long time since I took the bus anywhere long-distance, though. There are charter bus companies but they cost a lot more than Greyhound because you're chartering, not just going where the assigned route takes you.

There's also Amtrak, but that's the train and it's more expensive than flying.

Thanks, that was the info I was looking for. Another question, can an 18 year old buy a plane ticket?

Yep. An 18-year-old can do pretty much anything except drink or rent a car (for that you have to be 25, and you do need a credit card).
