Of works and writing

Those are the ones I have read:

Homer - The Iliad (that was one boring year of Ancient Greek study group)
Goethe, Johann Wolfgang von - Faust (liked that one, not that part about having to recite 50 verses in class though.)
Shakespeare, William - Hamlet (was okay, I didn't really care for the characters, but still, I finished the book)
Shakespeare, William - Romeo and Juliet (overrrated, I think I skipped parts, being forced to watch the movie didn't help)
Sophocles - Antigone (liked that one a lot, not so hard reading and classical full on Greek tragedy)

Does anyone know good fic rec sites or communities? I know of crack_van so far.

On a totally random note: Something must have gone wrong when I moved. I'm missing stuff. Mysterious missing stuff.

Bright Shiny Objects is one of my favorite archives of recs. recsrainbow has a long list of recs journals, communities and sites.

Thanks for the links. Will be checking them out. BTW, how is AF going for you so far?

AF is going okay, I guess. I've only got about 2,500 words so far, but I kinda planned on procrastinating the first 2 weeks, cause I've had a lot going on. The next few weeks are pretty empty and I've got some deadlines coming up, so I should be able to get at least another 13,000 and hit my goal.

How's it going for you?

It's going okay. I'm at around 35K at the moment which puts me behind on my goal though. I had a lot of problems on my first fic project (a WaT casefile with romantic undertones), I just couldn't get the ending to work, I rewrote it several times, but then I decided to leave it for later. Now on my second project which I hadn't even planned on doing during AF, but since the CSI/WaT crossover plot got overrun by canon, went ahead with it anyways.
