Multiple Pointage

Having unpacked, slept for the better part of two days, caught up on my email, sorted out the matters of the stolen passport (hopefully, I'll have a new one by the time I go back to the UK), seen my psychiatrist and read some fanfic, I feel half-way decent and more relaxed than in the last few weeks. I have even sorted out the school papers today and to my horro noticed that two assignments are missing. I'll search some more before I go email begging for someone to scan the sheets for me.

The doctor here at home is now finally convinced that stimulants are a good idea. 400mg in the morning lasts almost 12 hours. Only downside, it aggravates the not hungry/losing weight. Otherwise, felt definetly better (less exhausted, less med-achey and tired) today. It's just now in the evening that I'm feeling all medicated again.

I'm considering getting an ipod, either that or a new MiniDisc Player. My current MD-Player is pretty old and over time has lost its recording function. Warranty is long over. Since it no longer records, I'm limited to the songs that I have on minidisc which, considering my constantly growing mp3 collection isn't really satisfying. My minidisc collection has been dwindling for a while through natural wear and tear, boarding school communisim, theft, loss (?).

What do people who have / had an ipod say? Good experiences, bad experiences?

I have picked up fanfic writing again. I started a new story Never Mind for a challenge, but it's not flowing, it's all in chunks that just stick there and I have no idea about any satisfying ending. Also started on the 8th chapter of the worst fic I have ever written, aka Space Pirates, but it's bad in a fun way, I like writing it. It's one fic that I have never even pretended is good. While the actual Space Pirates don't appear too often the fic is as trashy as the title sounds.
