Sorry to hear that your muse is vanished, but the yarn? Are there knitting muses? Could be something creative (and soft) on the horizon?

The knitting muses have made prior appearances in times of severe idleness, but they seem to be rather shy creatures ;-)

My knitting is restricted to scarfs (unless you count a hideous green teddy creature I knit in sixth grade), mostly because of lack of actual skill. I tried my hands at socks while in the hospital recently, but there are just too many needles involved for my taste. So, it's probably going to be another scarf.
