NaNo and Life in general - After the 50k
Now that I'm done with the 50k and they pressure is gone, the going is much, much harder. I haven't written much the last two day, partly because I had some rl tasks and chores to catch up on that I neglected during the last three weeks in favour of nanowrimo. Especially, I am back to my big decluttering project and am busily selling various items on ebay. I might have more freebies to offer soon to anyone willing to pay for postage, depending on how the auctions go. If I can't sell it, I'll probably give it away. Speaking of ebay, I can hardly believe that I have been a member since '99. I even recall using some other auction sites before joining ebay. I have been at this way too long. And still I can't seem to take a decent picture ;-) Can't work on that this afternoon because Sis woke me up just now to borrow the camera. I'm still pretty tired, hence the afternoon nap.

But yeah, back to nano. My story is nearing the big showdown and the action-y scenes are pretty hard to write, despite me having planned it already. I'm just not very good at writing action. We discussed this at the last write-in and apparently I'm not the only one who finds it difficult to describe things properly and at the same time keep the pace rapid.

And because you have all been waiting for it:

Thanks! That's a disturbing icon you have there...Neat, but somehow disturbing. Is that supposed to be the famous Hamlet scene or am I interpreting it all wrong? *is NOT busy at all*

why yes, that's Jack Skellington doing his Hamlet in Nightmare Before Christmas. *loves on Tim Burton*
