Idle hands or why I started cleaning out my place

I'm normally not one for regrets. I'm all 'what's-done-is-done', but sometimes hindsight really is 20/20. Needless to say that I'm still without my laptop and all because I called Dell about my silly time loop problem.

Without having a (decent) computer to waste time on, I decided to do some spring cleaning and decluttering. Fact of the matter is that I have very little space and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. Hence I need to get rid of the stuff I don't need (anymore), and that includes a truckload of books that I will never read again as well as several boxes of old textbooks spanning my lengthy academic career. Ebay is usually a bust since virtually all my books are in English or other foreign languages and I'm lucky if I find anyone who is willing to pay the postage on there, let alone something for the books. Instead, I decided to go with a professional book buyer (not sure if that is the term). They don't pay much, but better than what I would have gotten on ebay, especially for textbooks and other non-fiction books. I'll be interested to see how fast their turn-around is.

Other than that, a school assignment is looming on the horizon and I've not yet caught up. Might have to ask for an extension if matters don't improve soon, but there is still time to decide on that.
